As a way to ensure night vision, ordinary visible light lighting can be used, but this cannot be concealed and may expose the target of surveillance. In order to realize concealed night surveillance, infrared camera technology is currently commonly adopted. Infrared camera technology is divided into passive infrared camera technology and active infrared camera technology. Passive infrared camera technology uses the principle that objects above absolute zero (-273°C) emit infrared rays. The infrared rays emitted from the human body and heat-generating objects are strong, while the red light from other non-heat-generating objects is very weak. Therefore, night surveillance is possible by using special infrared cameras. However, passive infrared camera technology is rarely used in night surveillance systems because the equipment costs are high and it cannot reflect the surrounding situation. The human naked eye cannot see infrared light. Because digital cameras use CCDs to detect all light, the images captured by them are very different from the images produced by visible light that can be seen by the naked eye. To solve this problem, digital cameras are fitted with an infrared filter between the lens and the CCD, so that the CCD can only detect visible light in broad daylight. This ensures that the images captured by digital cameras are consistent with the images seen by the naked eye. Night vision is less than ideal:
In nighttime surveillance, the effect of hand flashing is often insufficient or the distance is insufficient. This is mainly due to the angle and function of the infrared lamp. The currently used 850 nanometer peak wavelength infrared launcher has a selectable angle of 5-60 degrees. The smaller the angle, the farther the irradiation distance and the more obvious the hand flashing effect. Conversely, the larger the angle, the greater the reduction in distance. The solution to this problem depends on how manufacturers pursue the balance between effect and cost, and at the same time, the power and price of the infrared light are proportional.

Color reproduction in broad daylight is lacking:
Infrared integrated cameras often show color bias in broad daylight. This is mainly a problem with the camera filter. Ordinary infrared integrated cameras use a bimodal filter that can transmit a certain percentage of infrared light. Its advantage is that it is low cost, but natural light contains a lot of infrared components, which may interfere with color reproduction when it enters the CCD. To solve this problem, we adopt the IPCUT bimodal filter, which contains an infrared cut filter and a full spectrum optical glass. This allows the infrared cut filter to work effectively during the day and the CCD to reproduce the real color. At night, when the light is insufficient, the infrared cut filter will automatically move and the full spectrum optical glass will work, allowing the CCD to fully utilize all the light, greatly improving the infrared performance.

Factors that affect the lifespan of an infrared lamp:
Some of the power consumed by the lamp is converted into light energy, and some into heat energy, which is inevitable. The key is to properly control and handle the generated heat energy. If excessive heat energy is generated or proper cooling measures are not taken, it will cause rapid aging of the lamp and the irradiation distance will rapidly decrease.
